Breaking News: Duke Basketball has set a record in the ACC that can’t be broken so easily

In decades, only a few conference opponents have managed to overcome Duke basketball’s homecourt edge.

Why Duke Basketball's 312 Run In Chicago Was Surprisingly Canceled

It has been over two decades since Georgia Tech defeated a Duke basketball team at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Regarding Boston College, the Eagles have yet to emerge victorious from their encounters with the Blue Devils in front of the renowned Cameron Crazies, as they were defeated in Durham on Saturday once more.

However, neither Wake Forest—the most recent victim of Cameron on Monday night—nor Clemson have accomplished the feat this century.

With that, Duke now owns the four longest home winning streaks in the ACC:

25 in a row against Wake Forest, starting in 1998
21 in a row against Clemson, starting in 1996

14 in a row against Boston College, starting in 1990
13 in a row against Georgia Tech, starting in 2005

There are just three home games left for the No. 9 Blue Devils (19-5, 10-3 ACC), who are now tied for first place in the league loss column with their bitter rival UNC. Those home winning streaks will last at least until the following season because none are against Wake Forest, Clemson, Boston College, or Georgia Tech.

In ACC play, Duke now has three straight road games against the Tar Heels as it looks to build on a 3-0 homestand that came after a defeat in Chapel Hill.
