Good News: Just In New Orleans Saints Confirm The Signing OF Another Fans Favorite Experienced Star

The New Orleans Saints have reached a one-year contract agreement with free agency wide receiver Stanley Morgan, according to a statement released today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Mickey Loomis.
The Cincinnati Bengals signed Morgan, 6-0, 205, an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska, in 2019. Morgan has four years of NFL experience. During his time with the Bengals, the New Orleans native—who was a standout at St. Augustine High School—performed exceptionally well on special teams, earning 30 stops (20 solo) in 51 games and receiving five passes for 29 yards.

He started one game out of 17 during the regular season in 2021, and he led the AFC champion Bengals in special teams snaps (312) and tackles (11) as well as returning two kickoffs for 22 yards. He also caught two receptions for 11 yards and carried one for three yards. Morgan participated in 14 regular season games in 2022 and recorded 11 special teams tackles, which tied him for the Bengals lead. He was called up from the practice squad to the Bengals special teams squads for three games in 2023. Morgan participated in four Cincinnati postseason games and made one stop for coverage in the 2022 postseason.

Between 2015 and 2018, Morgan participated in 49 games for Nebraska and completely altered the Cornhuskers’ receiving record books. He finished his career with career highs in receiving yards (2,747), receiving touchdowns (22) and receptions (189). He became the first player from Nebraska to surpass 1,000 yards in receiving in 2018 with 1,004 yards after collecting 70 passes. Morgan was named a first-team Class 5A All-State performance in his senior year at St. Augustine, when he amassed 46 receptions for 891 yards and eight touchdowns for the Purple Knights.
