Good News: Just IN New York Jets Confirm THE Signing OF Another Top NFL Experienced Star

According to reports from ESPN and NFL Network on Tuesday, wide receiver Mike Williams has agreed to a one-year contract worth up to $15 million with the New York Jets.

After spending his first seven NFL seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers, Williams, 29, was released last week as a cap casualty.

Williams’ 2023 season was cut short by an ACL tear in Week 3.

He has amassed 309 receptions for 4,806 yards (15.6 yards per catch) and 31 touchdowns in 88 career games (62 starts), in addition to one touchdown via rushing.

Williams was Keenan Allen’s backup wide receiver in Los Angeles.

While quarterback Aaron Rodgers recovers from his injury, he will line up opposite former Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson in New York.

Before being cut, Williams was scheduled to make $17 million in the last year of his three-year contract with the Chargers.
