Latest News: Philadelphia Eagles Just Confirm THE Signing OF Another Top Sensational Star

According to the official NFL transaction website, defensive back Tyler Hall, a free agent, was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Hall, who turns 26 on Halloween, attended Wyoming for his college football career before accepting a free agent contract as an undrafted rookie after the 2020 NFL Draft with the Atlanta Falcons.

After that, he played with the Los Angeles Rams for one season before spending the final two with the Las Vegas Raiders.

In 31 games played, he has made six starts overall.

According to Pro Football Focus, below are Hall’s career snap totals broken down per position:

2020: 122 special teams, 5 slots, and 1 free safety
41 special teams in 2021
2022: 5 free safety, 7 outside cornerbacks, 32 boxes, 167 slots, 7 defensive line, 1 special teams.
2023: 2 free safety, 7 outside cornerbacks, 21 box, 129 slot, 1 defensive line, and 83 special teams
As you can see, Hall has played in the slot for the majority of his defensive snaps. Since the Eagles cut Avonte Maddox, a free agent, they are currently without a reliable starting nickel cornerback. Hall can go up against other players for playing time. or at the very least, secure a spot on the squad as a special teams player and backup slot option, taking over for the departed Josiah Scott.

Although he isn’t the most impressive free agent the Eagles have signed, their lack of depth at nickel corner was glaringly evident in the previous campaign. It’s good that Howie Roseman included yet another choice there.
