Good News: Just In Dallas Stars Confirm Reaching Contract Extension For Another Top Experienced Player

Luke Krys and the Dallas Stars have reached an agreement on a two-year Entry-level contract that will begin in the 2024–2025 campaign. According to PuckPedia.com, his contract includes an NHL salary of $775,000, a $95,000 signing bonus, a $80,000 games played bonus, and a $82,500 minor league pay each year. The minimum pay in the NHL is $775,000, whereas the highest possible minor-league compensation for a player on an entry-level contract is $82,500.

Krys joins the Texas Stars of the AHL after finishing his college career with 127 games played, 15 goals, and 40 assists. Before transferring to Providence College, Krys was captain of Brown University and was named to the NCAA All-Ivy League Second Team in both the 2022–2023 and 2021–2022 seasons. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound defenseman, who was not selected in the first round, will try to give the Texas Stars’ blue line some experience.
