Breaking News: Just In Buffalo Bills Announced THE Signing OF Another Top Experienced Superstar

Signing DT Austin Johnson to a one-year contract
Austin Johnson, a defensive tackle, has agreed to a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills, the organization announced on Thursday.

In his second season in Los Angeles, Johnson, who was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the 2016 NFL Draft, started 17 games for the Chargers in 2017. In all, he recorded 46 tackles, including one forced fumble.

Head coach Sean McDermott, who claimed he did not get an opportunity to meet Jones when he visited the facility, stated, “The person that I’ve heard about is to me what’s desirable to start off with, the type of person that he is, the type of professional he is.”

Former Penn State and Titans teammate DaQuan Jones, who expressed his enthusiasm about Johnson’s coming on social media, will rejoin with Johnson.

The former second-round pick has played both inside and outside of the defensive line and has eight career sacks. According to general manager Brandon Beane, Johnson might enjoy a breakout season like to the one Jones experienced in his debut season in Buffalo.

“I think even DaQuan, you’ve seen in our system improve his pass rush, and we do think Austin can kind of follow that same trajectory,” Beane stated. “I invited him to come visit. Great young man. He discussed the value of having a winning team and culture, and it’s clear that DaQuan was assisting in selling our circumstances.”

Raised in New Jersey, Johnson began his Penn State career with Buffalo Bills defensive tackle DaQuan Jones.
