Star wide receiver Tank Dell of the Texans was shot and injured.
Houston — Tank Dell, a talented wide receiver for the Houston Texans, was one of ten people shot on Saturday night in Florida. The club declared on Sunday afternoon that Dell had been discharged from the hospital after sustaining a minor injury.

Dell was an innocent bystander in a mass shooting that occurred in a nightclub, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC. It is anticipated that he will fully recover.

The Texans released a statement saying, “We have been informed that Tank Dell was a victim of a shooting in Sanford, Fla. last night.”

“He was hospitalized for a small wound, but he was discharged and was in high spirits. We are keeping in touch with him and his family and will send out further updates as needed, but for now we ask that you respect his privacy. We are praying and thinking for everyone who was impacted by the incident.”

During the Texans’ Week 13 victory against the Denver Broncos, Dell broke his fibula, necessitating season-ending surgery on December 4. The rookie wide receiver had 10 games under his belt at the time of the injury, with 709 yards on 47 catches and seven touchdowns.

Coach DeMeco Ryans expressed his joy over Dell’s comeback while confirming that he attended the first day of optional workouts on April 15.

Dell has made a name for himself in the Texans’ future despite sitting out the team’s final nine games.
