Good News: Just In Texas Longhorns Are Talk To Sign Another Top Talented Superstar

Texas Longhorns, a gifted four-star running back, rank in the top five.
The Texas Longhorns are trying to bolster their backfield with additional talent.

The Texas Longhorns’ running backs coach is a big part of the reason why the team’s “RBU” designation is steadily rising. Going ahead, all Choice and head coach Steve Sarkisian need to do is demonstrate the NFL talent at running back that they have been able to create over the last two seasons, which is anticipated to continue in 2025.

Regardless of what that could entail, their offseason recruiting strategies continue to show promise.

Texas is among the last five of Calvary Baptist Academy’s (Shreveport, Louisiana) four-star 2025 running back James Simon’s rankings, according to On3. In addition, he will choose between Alabama, Texas A&M, LSU, and Notre Dame.

There are currently seven predictions for Simon on 247Sports. He has three of those for Texas and the remaining four for his home team, the LSU Tigers. Naturally, these are merely forecasts from recruitment specialists; Simon has not yet made an announcement regarding his commitment.

Simon has defeated the opponents in his first three years of high school. In that time, he has amassed 343 rushes for 2,763 rushing yards, 46 touchdowns, and 30 receptions for 346 yards and six additional scores.

It’s easy to assume that the Longhorns would be thrilled to have him join their 2025 recruiting class, which currently includes Rickey Stewart, a three-star running back commit.
