BREAKING NEWS: Jubilation as Calgary Flames signed another experience fans favorite star to two-year deal

Morgan Frost Signs Two-Year Deal with Flames at \$4.375M AAV

The Calgary Flames have locked up newly acquired centre Morgan Frost to a two-year contract worth a total of \$8.75 million, according to PuckPedia. The deal carries an average annual value (AAV) of \$4.375 million, solidifying Frost’s place in Calgary’s forward group for the near future.

Frost, 25, was acquired by the Flames earlier this offseason and is expected to play a key role in their top-nine rotation. Known for his playmaking ability and vision, the former first-round pick is coming off a strong finish to the 2024 campaign, in which he tallied 41 points (15 goals, 26 assists) in 75 games with the Philadelphia Flyers.

This deal gives the Flames some cost certainty down the middle as they continue retooling their roster. For Frost, the contract offers a chance to solidify himself as a consistent offensive contributor and potentially earn a longer-term extension with Calgary down the road.

With this signing, the Flames take another step toward reshaping their lineup under new leadership, and all eyes will now turn to how Frost performs in a bigger role over the next two seasons.
