In order to start his NFL career, Nathan Latu is traveling to New Orleans.

The Oklahoma State defensive lineman inked an undrafted free agency deal with the New Orleans Saints despite not being selected.

Latu participated in all 14 games during the previous campaign, racking up three sacks and 31 tackles for the Cowboys. His biggest performance occurred in OSU’s victory over the Bears versus Central Arkansas, where he recorded 1.5 sacks and six tackles.

Latu finished 2022 with 14 tackles and four sacks in 10 games, ranking second on the team behind Colin Oliver.

Latu attended Snow College, a junior college in Richfield, Utah, prior to attending OSU. In 2019, he participated in six games and concluded the year with 21 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. In 2021, he was the 49th-ranked junior college prospect.

Latu will compete for a spot on the Saints, who finished the previous season with a 9-8 record and failed to make the playoffs for the second consecutive year.
