Three-day selections of two Bulldogs round out the 2024 NFL Draft.
DETROIT: To conclude the third and last day of the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday, two more Bulldogs were chosen in the fifth and sixth rounds.

At the end of draft weekend, Georgia has selected eight players overall for 2024, which is the fourth-highest number in program history and the Kirby Smart era.

The Buffalo Bills selected junior center Sedrick Van Pran, the sixth choice of the fifth round and 141st overall, as the first Bulldog taken on day three. The Bills have selected an offensive lineman from the Bulldogs for the third time, and for the first time since Cordy Glenn in 2012. Buffalo has selected nine players from Georgia; three of those selections (Jake Fromm in 2020, James Cook in 2022, and Sedrick Van Pran in 2024) have occurred in the last five years.

The Atlanta Falcons selected senior defensive lineman Zion Logue with the 197th overall pick (21st pick of the sixth round) in the subsequent round. Since Akeem Dent in 2011, Logue is the first defensive player and the first Bulldog defensive lineman prospect chosen by the Falcons. Since 1968, Atlanta has selected 12 players from Georgia; Logue is the third to stay in the state in the last three seasons (Justin Shaffer & John Fitzpatrick, 2022).

New Orleans, Louisiana native Van Pran started all 44 games during his three years as a starter at center for the Georgia Bulldogs, helping them win back-to-back national titles in 2021 and 2022. Van Pran, a captain of the squad in 2023, was recognized for his season-long play with the SEC Jacobs Blocking Trophy and was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy. After his play against South Carolina, Van Pran won the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week award and was selected a First Team All-American by ESPN and Sports Illustrated. Van Pran was added to the Senior Bowl, Lombardi Award, Outland Trophy, and Preseason Media Days All-SEC First Team watch lists prior to his junior year.

Throughout his five seasons with the Bulldogs, Lebanon, Tennessee native Logue started 16 of 50 games and recorded 52 total tackles, including 28 solo stops and 4.5 for loss of yardage. Along with those three deflected passes, a forced fumble, and a recovery, the senior also recorded 1.5 sacks. Logue made a career-high 17 tackles in 10 games as a starter in 2023, helping a team that was seventh in the country in scoring defense (15.6 points per game).

Since Amarius Mims was selected on Thursday and Van Pran on Saturday, Georgia has had two or more offensive linemen selected in drafts every season for the past five years.
