Another Shocking News: Auburn Tigers Just Confirm The Departure Of Another Two Top Sensational Superstars Players

Marcus Harris (DE, Auburn) joins the Texans in the seventh round.
Marcus Harris of Auburn was chosen by Houston in the seventh round on Saturday afternoon, bolstering their defensive draft class.

At 6-2 and 286 pounds, the defensive tackle was selected with the 247th overall choice.

While playing for the Tigers the previous season, Harris recorded 7.5 sacks of the opposition’s quarterbacks in addition to 11.5 tackles for loss. He started his collegiate career in 2019 at Kansas and attended Auburn from 2021 to 2022. He expressed his joy at being a Texan and talked about his strongest qualities as a player.

“I’m a physical, hard-working defensive lineman that likes to make plays behind the line of scrimmage,” Harris stated.

Playing well in SEC games the previous three seasons has further increased his conviction that he can be successful in the NFL.

Harris went on, “That just proves to me that I can perform at a higher level.” “In my opinion, the SEC is the most challenging division in college. To me, participating in the SEC was really important.”

Harris is excited to be joining a defense that is managed by former Crimson Tide defensive end Will Anderson, Jr., despite the fact that Auburn and Alabama are bitter rivals.

“Man, I’m so excited to be able to call him a teammate,” added Harris. “I can’t wait to line up beside him and help out the defense as well.”

The Texans selected Harris as their third draft pick in 2014, following running back Jay Prosch and fullback Ben Tate (2010).
