Sevilla Star Emerges as Summer Bundesliga Target

Sevilla center-back Loïc Badé has reportedly become a top target for Bundesliga clubs this summer, with Bayer Leverkusen leading the chase to secure the French defender’s signature.

The 24-year-old has caught the attention of several European sides following a strong season in La Liga and a standout showing in the recent UEFA Nations League, where he played a key role in France’s third-place finish. Badé’s mix of physicality, composure, and aerial dominance has made him a valuable asset in Sevilla’s back line — and a player in high demand.

Bayer Leverkusen, fresh off a historic domestic campaign, are said to be exploring options to strengthen their defense following the likely departure of Jonathan Tah. According to reports from Spain and Germany, Badé is viewed as a top priority, with the Bundesliga champions impressed by his consistency and experience at the top level.

Sevilla, who signed Badé on a long-term deal through 2029, are believed to be open to a sale if the right offer arrives. While the Andalusian club rejected bids in the past — including one near €25 million from Aston Villa — current indications suggest they would consider letting Badé go for a fee in the region of €30 million.

The potential move would represent a significant step forward for Badé, who has steadily built his reputation after spells in France with Lens and Rennes before landing in La Liga. A transfer to the Bundesliga, especially to a title-contending side like Leverkusen, could elevate his career to the next level and provide Champions League exposure.

As the summer transfer window unfolds, all signs point to an intensifying pursuit of the Sevilla defender  with Bundesliga interest heating up and a high-profile move potentially on the horizon.
