Breaking: Fabian Hürzeler Announced the Departure Three Top Experienced Superstars

Brighton & Hove Albion have assured supporters that departing club favorites Adam Webster, Solly March, and James Milner will be given an opportunity to properly say farewell to fans at the Amex Stadium in the future.

The club confirmed the departures of all three players following the final match of the 2025-26 season, a home fixture against Manchester United. However, there was no formal send-off during that game, something that disappointed a section of the fanbase. Brighton’s leadership has since explained that the focus at the time was firmly on the team’s pursuit of a European qualification spot, with hopes of even securing a place in the UEFA Champions League.

Because of the importance of the match, the club chose not to make the occasion about individual farewells. While many supporters were already aware that Webster would be leaving, there was no dedicated ceremony or tribute for any of the departing players. Brighton now intends to correct that by inviting them back to the Amex as special guests so fans can properly express their appreciation.

Both Webster and March have strong ties to Sussex and are highly respected figures among the club’s supporters. The club hopes they will be able to return when their schedules permit, though future commitments with new teams could affect the timing of any visit.

Club chairman Tony Bloom paid tribute to the trio and thanked them for their significant contributions to Brighton’s recent success. He emphasized that all three players had played important roles in helping the club grow and establish itself as a competitive Premier League side.

Bloom said that everyone associated with Brighton was grateful for the commitment, professionalism, and impact of March, Webster, and Milner. He also expressed the club’s desire to welcome them back in the future so supporters can celebrate their achievements and show their appreciation in person.

March, a hometown favorite from Hailsham, leaves after a memorable spell with the Seagulls. Bloom noted that the winger should take great pride in everything he accomplished during his time at the club. He added that March’s contributions have earned him a special place in Brighton’s history and ensured he will always be remembered fondly by fans and staff alike.

Webster, who joined Brighton seven years ago, was also praised for his influence. Bloom highlighted the defender’s importance during a period of remarkable progress for the club, describing him as a key figure as Brighton continued to improve both on and off the pitch while raising standards throughout the organization.

Meanwhile, veteran midfielder James Milner recently announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 40. Bloom commended Milner’s leadership, professionalism, and selfless attitude during his three seasons with Brighton. He specifically praised the former England international for overcoming a serious injury and playing an important role in the team’s push for European football this past season.

As Brighton prepares for the next chapter, attention also turns to defender Joel Veltman. The experienced Dutch international is out of contract later this month, but discussions with the club regarding a potential new deal are still ongoing.
