Sad News: San Antonio Spurs Officially Announced The Departure Of Another Top Experienced Superstar

Patrick Baldwin Jr. has been waived by the San Antonio Spurs, according to a report from Michael C. Wright of ESPN.com.

Baldwin, 22, was recently involved in a trade that sent Kyle Kuzma to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Khris Middleton. However, Milwaukee subsequently traded Baldwin to San Antonio. The Spurs have now opted to release him, making him a free agent.

A former first-round pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Baldwin began his career with the Golden State Warriors before moving to the Washington Wizards.

Throughout his three-year NBA tenure, he has played limited minutes, averaging 3.7 points per game in just nine minutes per contest. With his release from the Spurs, Baldwin will now look for another opportunity elsewhere in the league.
