Miami Heat Reportedly Add Auburn Standout Keyshawn Hall on Undrafted Deal
After the conclusion of the 2026 NBA Draft, former Auburn forward Keyshawn Hall has reportedly found an immediate professional opportunity. According to multiple reports, Hall has agreed to an undrafted free agent deal with the Miami Heat, giving Auburn its first undrafted signee from this year’s class.
Although Hall spent only one season with the Auburn Tigers, he made a major impact during the 2025–26 campaign. He quickly became one of the most important players on the roster and emerged as a consistent offensive force. Hall finished the season as Auburn’s leading scorer, averaging 19.3 points per game. He also led the Tigers on the glass, pulling down 7.1 rebounds per contest.
At 6-foot-6 and 227 pounds, Hall brings a strong, physical frame that fits his aggressive style of play. His biggest strength is his ability to attack downhill. Rather than depending only on jump shots, Hall is at his best when he is driving toward the basket, using his body to create contact, finish through defenders, or earn trips to the free throw line.
That ability to draw fouls became one of the most important parts of his offensive game at Auburn. During his lone season with the Tigers, Hall attempted 266 free throws, showing how frequently he forced defenders into difficult positions. He was also highly reliable once he got to the line, converting 85.7 percent of his free throw attempts. According to KenPom, Hall ranked 84th nationally in free throw rate, further proving how effective he was at creating scoring chances through contact.
Before arriving at Auburn, Hall had already built a well-traveled college basketball career. He previously played at UNLV, George Mason, and UCF before joining the Tigers. His stop at Central Florida was especially productive, as he became the Big 12’s leading scorer during his only season with the Knights. At UCF, Hall averaged 18.8 points per game, showing that his offensive production at Auburn was not a one-season surprise.
Now, Hall will try to carry that scoring ability into the professional level with Miami. The Heat have a strong reputation for giving undrafted players real opportunities, which could make this a promising landing spot for him. Miami has often valued tough, physical, hardworking players who can compete on both ends of the floor, and Hall’s aggressive scoring style could help him stand out during summer league and training camp opportunities.
Hall is the latest Auburn player to earn a chance after going undrafted. Following the 2025 NBA Draft, former Tigers Dylan Cardwell, Chaney Johnson, and Miles Kelly also signed undrafted free agent deals. All three eventually earned playing time in the NBA last season, showing that Auburn players can still find a path to the league even without hearing their names called on draft night.
For Hall, signing with the Heat is only the beginning. His next challenge will be proving that his scoring, strength, rebounding, and free throw creation can translate against NBA-level competition.
