In a significant development on the college football recruiting front, four-star quarterback Brady Hart has flipped his commitment from the University of Michigan to Texas A&M University. Originally a member of the 2026 recruiting class, Hart has reclassified to the 2025 cycle and plans to sign with the Aggies during the early signing period in December .
Hart, a 6-foot-5, 190-pound signal-caller from Cocoa, Florida, had committed to Michigan in June 2024. However, the Wolverines’ recent acquisition of five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, the nation’s top-ranked prospect for 2025, likely influenced Hart’s decision to reconsider his options .
Underwood, who had initially committed to LSU, flipped to Michigan in November 2024, citing the opportunity to play closer to home and under head coach Sherrone Moore .
Hart’s commitment to Texas A&M bolsters the Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class, providing head coach Mike Elko with a promising talent at the quarterback position. Hart is expected to enroll early and join the team in January 2025 .
This flip underscores the dynamic nature of college football recruiting, where program decisions and player movements can have cascading effects on commitments across the country.
