Former Texas OL Cameron Williams Inks Rookie Deal with the Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have officially signed offensive tackle Cameron Williams to a four-year rookie contract, solidifying their commitment to developing young talent on the offensive line. Selected with the 207th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Williams’ contract is valued at approximately \$4.4 million, including a signing bonus of \$201,572 .

Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 317 pounds, Williams brings a formidable presence to the Eagles’ offensive front. He started 15 games at right tackle during his junior year at the University of Texas, contributing significantly to an offensive line that was a finalist for the Joe Moore Award, which honors the nation’s top collegiate offensive line .

Williams’ journey to the NFL began at Duncanville High School in Texas, where he was a three-star recruit. Initially committed to the University of Oregon, he later chose to play for the Texas Longhorns . Over three seasons at Texas, he appeared in 37 games, making 16 starts.

Eagles’ All-Pro left tackle Jordan Mailata has already taken notice of Williams’ work ethic and potential. “I love our rookies. This is a great rookie class, especially in that O-line room,” Mailata said. “They work hard. And I told Myles (Hinton) and I told Cameron and I told Drew (Kendall), I said, ‘I don’t care if you come for my job. If you’re better than me, you’re going to be better than me. But I’m going to make it damn hard for you to reach that'” .

With the signing of Williams, the Eagles have now secured contracts with eight of their ten 2025 draft picks. Only first-round linebacker Jihaad Campbell and second-round safety Andrew Mukuba remain unsigned .

As the Eagles prepare for the upcoming season, Williams is expected to compete for a spot on the roster, providing depth and potential future starting capability on the offensive line. His development under the guidance of the Eagles’ coaching staff will be closely watched as the team looks to maintain its strong offensive performance.
