Higgins, a member of the Class of 2027, officially announced his decision to play college football in Lexington, choosing Kentucky over several other notable programs.
Higgins selected the Wildcats over finalists such as Purdue Boilermakers football, Indiana Hoosiers football, and Louisville Cardinals football. His commitment adds to what is shaping up to be a strong recruiting class, as he becomes the 11th player to pledge to Kentucky in the 2027 cycle. Interestingly, Higgins made his decision just days before he was scheduled to take an official visit to Indiana, signaling a high level of confidence in his choice.
Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing around 223 pounds, Higgins currently plays at Anderson High School Cincinnati, where he has developed into one of the more intriguing defensive prospects in his class.
